Wine Glazed Baked Fish

Ingredients:

  • 4 fish fillets (about 6 ounces each)

  • 1/4 cup white wine (such as Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: Lemon slices and fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the white wine, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place the fish fillets in the dish and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning them occasionally.

  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

  4. Remove the fillets from the marinade and place them in the prepared baking dish.

  5. Pour the marinade over the fillets, reserving a small amount for later use.

  6. Bake the fish in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  7. Pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Let it cook for a few minutes until it reduces slightly and thickens.

  8. Drizzle the reduced wine glaze over the baked fish fillets and garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley, if desired.

Parmesan Crusted Baked Fish

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (such as snapper or halibut)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the fish fillets in the prepared baking dish. Brush both sides of the fish with the olive oil mixture.

  4. Arrange lemon slices on top of the fish.
